Trusting in God results in emotional and physical security

Leviticus 25:18-22

v18 “So you shall observe My statutes and keep My judgments, and perform them; and you will dwell in the land in safety.

v19 “Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill, and dwell there in safety.

v20 “And if you say, “What shall we eat in the seventh year, since we shall not sow nor gather in our produce?”

v21 “Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it will bring forth produce enough for three years,

v22 “And you shall sow in the eighth year, and eat old produce until the ninth year; until its produce comes in, you shall eat of the old harvest.”

It is true blessedness to know and know and know for sure that God can be trusted in everything He says and promises. We may seem to lose out at first, in fact it’s always the case (for me). But the rewards and the joy will be worth the struggle, the tears, and even the falls that eventually lead to the victory.

Doing things the right way, with integrity, uprightness and honesty pays dividends over and over… A good name is to be chosen than riches, choose a good name!

  1. Hey Rachel, this article reminds me of what I’ve been meditating lately in preparation for Lent…continue to do good despite life’s trials and knowingly in our heart that God never loses sight on us……amen! Good read Rachel 🙂
